PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The chemistry degree at Carson-Newman is a rigorous program that prepares you for cutting-edge research in the laboratory or for graduate programs in today’s growing number of medical fields. Beyond the classroom, you’ll discover service-learning opportunities, hands-on experiences with instrumentation and research projects, and interdisciplinary experiences with biology and physics. You’ll also have the option to double major, which allows you to combine chemistry with other interests. With particularly low student-to-teacher ratios in the upper-level courses, our faculty will work closely with you as you develop the skills and knowledge to attain your career goals.

BA in Chemistry: A basic chemistry degree prepares you for a job in a laboratory or for a health profession graduate program. Gives you the opportunity to double major and broaden your background.
